My Story
I believe that life is about the little things - finding opportunity in every day and doing our part to build a better world. I’ve always loved helping other people, and now I get to do it every day through music. Every day of my life has prepared me to be a music teacher.
Music has been the center of my life for as long as I can remember. Every single day revolves around it.
I'm Trevor. I've been teaching piano and drums for four years, and always had a knack for guiding others to finding answers.
I didn't take the traditional route: I spent four years studying privately under a mentor in Torrington who shaped the way I think about music and how to pass it on.
My lessons are fun, but they're packed. I work contemporary music into everything — technique, theory, ear training — because I'd rather teach you something through a song you actually love than a scale you'll never play again.
My favorite part of this job? Watching the lights come on when something finally clicks.
